Ashley Stevenson (she/her)

Ashley Stevenson was born and raised in Chicago, IL. As a teen, she listened to many of the soulful oldies played at home by her parents, which have come to largely define who she is as an artist today.

Although her talent was presented at a very early stage in her life, it was at nine years old that Ashley began her formal vocal training. Ashley's performances with the All City Youth Chorus lasted for six years and carried on through high school where she then performed with the All City High School Chorus. She continued her education at Columbia College Chicago graduating in 2007 with a BA in vocal Jazz.

Ashley has worked with Sarah Marie Young UVC South Loop as a vocalist for the original worship team. Under the artist name Ashley Laschelle, she has independently released two albums, "The Introduction", and “Letting Go.” Both albums are currently available on all streaming platforms.
