Kids, Youth & Families

Urban Village Church is here to support families, children, and youth. Our mission is to create sacred spaces for kids, teens, and families to explore God’s message of love and grace. We are so grateful that God made so many different families in so many different ways to build community together.

Kids Church

Kid’s Church for 3-11 year olds is provided during worship at all of our sites. Kids are encouraged to start Sunday worship with grownups for singing. They’ll be dismissed for Kid’s Church after the Passing of the Peace—about 15 minutes into the service. Kid’s will also have an opportunity to receive communion.

Youth

Urban Village Church is hosting a Confirmation Program this school year for youth in grades 6-12 using the Confirm Not Conform curriculum. Through innovative lessons, field trips, mentor relationships, and the challenge to do a whole lot more than just learn a few facts, Confirm Not Conform allows youth to take responsibility for understanding their faith and its power.

Families

Throughout the year we also have small groups for families with young kids, for foster families, retreats for Advent and Lent, and other fun activities to engage every part of our families and souls.
