Joanna (she/her) is a native of Chicago's South Side, and has spent more than 20 years working in non-profit organizations, primarily in the areas of youth development, justice system transformation and social justice education. She’s passionate about envisioning and building a world in which all can thrive while simultaneously mitigating the current harm of oppressive systems. Joanna's current focus is in grant writing, learning Spanish and seeking any opportunity to dance as a means to relieve stress and embrace joy.
