Miranda Hornsby (she/her)

Miranda Joy Donakey Hornsby (she/her) is a third-year Master of Divinity Student at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She was born and raised in Louisiana, where her father serves as a United Methodist Elder. Miranda graduated from Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas, in 2018 with a BA in Religious Studies focusing on religious education. Since graduating, Miranda has been an Intern for the Chaplain’s Office at Hendrix College, serving as the Interfaith Coordinator, and most recently completed her first unit of Clinical Pastoral Education with the Northshore Hospital System. Miranda currently lives in Evanston with her husband, Chad, a fellow MDiv student, and their puppy Sven. Miranda is on the Elder track for ordination in the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church. In her free time, Miranda loves to be outside and craft. Miranda would love recommendations on fully appreciating the Chicagoland area before moving back to Arkansas after graduation in May.
